Refund & Cancellation Policy

Academy Certifications

Full refund — 7-day window

​

You are entitled to a full refund if you request within 7 calendar days of your enrolment date and you have not accessed any self-paced course lessons or downloaded any course materials.

To request: email info@recoverymomentumacademy.com (subject line: Refund Request) within 7 days. Refunds are processed within 10 business days via your original payment method.

Partial refund — 8 to 14 days

Between 8 and 14 days of enrolment, if you have accessed some but not all course materials, a partial refund of up to 50% may be issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

After 14 days — no standard refund

After 14 days, refunds are not available as a matter of course. However, we offer:

• Program deferrals — transfer your enrolment to a future cohort at no cost

• Extended access — additional time to complete the program in extenuating circumstances

• Satisfaction review — if you complete the program and feel it didn’t deliver what was promised, contact us within 30 days of graduation and we will work to make it right

Payment plans

• Within 7 days: full refund of amounts paid, all future installments cancelled

• After 7 days: future installments may be cancelled but amounts paid are non-refundable after 14 days

• Payment plan pause: pause for up to 90 days, email us to arrange

Live session cancellations

​

Individual live sessions cannot be refunded. All sessions are recorded and available to enrolled students within 48 hours. Missing a live session does not affect graduation eligibility provided you watch the recording.

Program cancellation by us

If we cancel a cohort before it begins: full refund within 10 business days. If cancelled after commencement: transfer to the next available cohort or a pro-rated refund based on content not yet delivered.

RMI™ Licensing

Before implementation begins

If you have signed a license agreement but implementation has not yet commenced, you may cancel within 7 days of signing for a full refund.

After implementation begins

​

Once implementation has begun, defined as delivery of any framework documents, staff training session, or implementation consultation, license fees are non-refundable. This reflects the significant time and preparation invested in delivering a customized implementation.

Annual license cancellation

​

Annual licenses may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice. Prepaid annual fees are non-refundable upon cancellation before the license year end, except where we have materially failed to deliver agreed services.

Non-renewal

​

You are under no obligation to renew. Notify us in writing at least 30 days before your renewal date. No charges are incurred for non-renewal.
